The validation of the arrest of Francesco Gallo (defended by the lawyer Renzo Andricciola), accused of having shot two ethnic Roma subjects, was held today in front of the GIP of Lamezia Francesco De Nino.

Gallo intended to answer the questions of the prosecutor, the judge and the defense. He clarified his position, saying that he was attacked and beaten by the two Roma over a road priority issue, while he was with his family. And subsequently that he was attacked again by several Roma when he went to via Savutano to clarify the situation.

In the second circumstance, he was forced to shoot because he saw himself in danger because he was surrounded. Gallo immediately turned himself in to the Sambiase carabinieri. The GIP validated the detention and issued a precautionary custody order under house arrest.
