The preliminary hearing judge of the Cosenza court Letizia Benigno has appointed the experts responsible for drawing up the psychiatric report on Rosa Vespa, the 51-year-old who on the evening of January 21st kidnapped a one-day-old baby girl from a private clinic in Cosenza. The experts are Michele Di Nunzio (psychiatrist, psychotherapist, specialist in Clinical Criminology and Forensic Psychiatry), Gabriella Bolzoni (psychologist and criminologist) and Roberta Costantini (psychotherapist and legal psychologist).

The lawyers of the newborn’s family have asked to be able to extend the question also to the evaluation of the conduct of the sole accused before and after the kidnapping. Request accepted by the preliminary hearing judge. The expert operations take place in the home of the accused, who is currently under house arrest. The appointment of the preliminary hearing judge came in the summary judgment conditioned precisely by the psychiatric evaluation to which the woman underwent.
