A 23-year-old Egyptian was arrested in Milan for having lured 12 girls, all between 13 and 17 years old at the time of the crimes, for the purpose of sexting, even going so far as to threaten to spread hardcore videos and photos if they stopped relating to him. The young man, with no criminal record and regularly in Italy, has never tried to meet or have physical contact with the girls and it does not appear that he has ever distributed material. Images were found on his mobile phone relating to the young women he had dated, without contact with real child pornography networks. A measure had been issued against the 23-year-old in 2022 (the first facts refer to 2019) but he would have been abroad for a long time. Last Saturday the Milan police tracked him down in a room in the center where he was cleaning for a company where he is regularly employed.
He is now in San Vittore accused of sexual assault, sexual acts with minors, possession and production of child pornography. The 12 victims live in various provinces of Italy. The first complaint was made by the parents of a 13-year-old in Reggio Calabria.
