The cycle of meetings dedicated to governance and administrative innovation promoted by the Reformist Federation continues in Rende, after the first meeting which saw the participation of Professor Enrico Caterini.

The meeting on April 15th

The next seminar, entitled “The future of the regional health service: mobility, differentiated autonomy and the right to health”, will be held on Wednesday 15 April at 6pm at the headquarters of the Reformist Federation, in via Silvio Pellico 38.

The secretary Cesare Loizzo will open the proceedings, while the report will be entrusted to Professor Pina Puntillo, professor of Programming and Control in Public Administrations at the University of Calabria.

“Healthcare is a central challenge”

«Satisfied and encouraged by participation in the first meeting – declares Loizzo – we continue to study strategic issues for the future of the territories. Healthcare is today one of the main challenges to guarantee social cohesion and development.”

«Health mobility – he adds – cannot be considered a physiological phenomenon, but represents the signal of imbalances that must be tackled decisively. We need a clear vision that puts the right to health and the quality of services at the centre.”

The crux of differentiated autonomy

Finally, the secretary draws attention to the issue of differentiated autonomy: «It must be accompanied by strong guarantees of equity. Without adequate equalization tools, the risk is that of widening territorial gaps, especially in the South.”
