The bill signed by the regional councilor was filed today Antonello Talerico(with the support also of the President of the Regional Council Filippo Mancuso and the President of the Health Commission Pasqualina Straface) for the extension of current rankings of public competitions of Regional Health Service Bodies and Companies.

Among the rankings included in the extension proposal also that relating to Oss former Policlinico Materdomini (resolution n.651/2022 of 10/25/2022) useful for replacing absent staff (due to illness, pregnancies, expectations, accidents, etc.), and also the ranking of administrative collaborators of the former AO “Pugliese-Ciaccio” (today Dulbecco)published with resolution no. 743 of 10.24.2022, in addition to any other ranking expiring in 2024.

The bill (drafted in record time thanks also to the fundamental contribution of the officials Annamaria Ferrara and Cinzia Papaleo of the Legislative Process Area of the Regional Council) is aimed at extending the validity of the rankings approved following the insolvency procedures of Bodies and Companies of the Regional health service expiring in 2024, in order to overcome the continuing lack of personnel in the regional health sector and ensure the continuity of the related services.
Add to this that the proposal follows similar legislative provisions adopted in other Regions and by the Calabria Region itself which, with the recent regional law of 26 July 2023, n. 29 has already provided for the “Extension of the Regional Health Service rankings” and the related rules have not been the subject of a government challenge.
The proposal is made up of 3 articles and, in order to ensure the continuity of the regional health service, provides for the extension of the effectiveness of the rankings approved in 2022 following the insolvency procedures of organizations and companies for a further twelve months from the deadline. of the regional health service.
The proposed law will now have to pass through the Health Commission and then be brought to the Regional Council by 22 October 2024.
