The Carabinieri of Nardodipace, with the Labor Inspectorate Unit of Vibo Valentia, carried out an inspection at a private construction site where a company was carrying out renovation works.
The activity arose following the info-operational activity carried out by the military, who had learned of the possible presence of illegal workers on a construction site in the city centre. As a result of the checks, the presence of two workers without a regular employment contract out of three present was in fact ascertained.
Due to the irregularities found, the construction site’s activity was suspended and a total administrative fine of 10,300 euros was imposed on the owner of the company.
