Immigration in Crotone: 94 expulsions of non -EU issues, 2800 residence permits issued

In all 27 municipalities falling in jurisdiction, only in the last month, the immigration office of the local Crotone police headquarters has traced on the provincial territory and expelled 94 irregular foreign citizens. Among these, 6 have been the subject of repatriation activities. The checks are aimed at verifying the exact correspondence and authenticity of the employment contracts and the documentation necessary for the issue of the residence permit. In particular, 2 non -EU citizens have been accompanied to the border and repatriated, while another 4 voluntarily left the national territory to return to their country of origin, always following a forced measure. Among the first two, a 32 -year -old Tunisian citizen, tracked down in an irregular position, was accompanied to the CPR of Caltanissetta and subsequently repatriated to Tunisia.

The other, on the other hand, was accompanied to the Fiumicino airport (RM) and boarded on a direct flight to its country of origin. These, a 23 -year -old Argentine boy, had entered Italy several months ago, but had retained irregularly on the national territory not regularizing his legal position. Both was imposed on the ban on re -entry on the Italian territory and on the whole Schengen area for 3 years.

4 other non -EU citizens, however, two women of 24 and 34 years old, a 24 -year -old Albanian woman and a 52 -year -old Moldovan woman left the national territory under a decree of expulsion carried out by voluntary departure. They all lent domestic work irregularly. Instead, 88 other non -EU people, traced and irregular on the national territory, the order of the Quaestor was notified to leave the national territory within 7 days.

Furthermore, from the beginning of the year to today, the immigration office, employed daily in the processing of numerous requests for request and renewal of residence permit, received via postal kit or by direct presentation at the police station, has produced 2800 residence permits.
