The role of appointments: between guarantors, members of the board of directors, councils, consortia, observers and boards of auditors, the Regional Council is preparing… to waltz. Paid or not, allowances or expense reimbursements, coveted positions are at stake: the dozens and dozens of applications, included in the lists approved and published by the bureau, bear witness to this.
The most prominent positions – and not surprisingly at the center of controversy in recent weeks – are those of guarantor of childhood and adolescence and health and that of ombudsman. In the first case, 16 names remained in the final list of candidates (12 excluded), in the second the shortlist that will be sent to the assembly for the final choice is made up of 12 names (15 excluded); 29 are running for the ombudsman, while 4 were excluded due to ineligibility or lack of the required experience attributable to the position.
