The flop of what he calls a conspiracy «is not my victory. I didn’t win, no one won, Catanzaro just lost. Increasingly weakened by those who understand politics as a clash between factions, as a struggle for power as an end in itself.” This is how Mayor Nicola Fiorita comments on the failure of the signature collection that the opposition had started to achieve the early dissolution of the City Council. The city will therefore not go to the vote in spring, but next year, at the natural end of the mandate.
Fiorita does not go into the merits of the strategy and does not want to comment on it. But he still sends some direct messages to some protagonists or party exponents. The first to end up in his sights, lining up some facts, is the regional councilor of Forza Italia, and provincial secretary of the party, Marco Polimeni.
