Two days full of events dedicated to the main themes that concern the future of Calabria and the country, from innovation to mobility, through health, work, civil rights, young people, differentiated autonomy, Southern Italy and local government.
The event will start on Friday 18 September at 4.00 pm with the opening of the party area. Followed, at 4.30pm, by a meeting dedicated to the new generations and the relationship between young people and digital innovation. At 5.15pm there will be a presentation of the book by Michele Drosi, Gaetano Filangieri, reformist and guaranteeist. In the afternoon and evening we will also discuss connections, intermodality, infrastructure and sustainability; of healthcare as a universal right and, at 8.30 pm, the investigative documentary film Cutro 94… and more will be screened, followed by a debate. The day will end at 10.00 pm with the musical show by Capofortuna.
The second day, Saturday 19 September, will open at 9.30 with “Voice to the city: building the alternative for Lamezia”, followed at 11.00 by the meeting on the proposals of the Young Democrats. In the afternoon there will be space for memory, rights and culture. At 3.00 pm there will be a remembrance by Repubblica journalist Giovanna Casadio, while at 3.30 pm the Calabria Democrats will promote the initiative “Neither subaltern nor invisible. Feminism that reconstructs territories”. At 4.00 pm the volume Conversation on the Constitution of the Italian Republic by Antonino Spadaro, interviewed by Francesco Kostner, will be presented. At 4.30 pm the discussion will continue on the topics of safety, legality, prevention, minimum wage, new bargaining and representation, with a focus on the protection of workers and the fight against precarious employment. At 5.45pm the theme of differentiated autonomy and the role of Europe in the governance of local authorities, of Southern Italy and Calabria, will be addressed with the assembly of the administrators of the PD of Calabria. The day will end with the appointment dedicated to “The alternative for a new government of the country”, at 7.15 pm, and with the Eman concert, scheduled for 10.00 pm. Among the national political guests there will be Andrea Casu, Alessandro Alfieri, Roberta Mori, Sandro Ruotolo, Francesco Boccia and Igor Taruffi.
