In Tiriolo the first stage of Bam! On the road Calabria Edition

Four hundred kilometers in the saddle, four stages, three parties, two seas, infinite landscapes and emotions for a European adventure in the infinite pleasure of Calabria: it is Bam! On the road – Calabria Edition, initiative fruit of the synergy between Bam! Bicycle Adventure Meeting (the largest European event dedicated to cycle tourism), Enough Cycling, an international collective of pedal creators, and the Calabrian tour operator dreaming together travels, technical organizer, with the support of the cycle path of the parks of Calabria and the region.

From Sila to Serre to Aspromonte by touching Jonio and Tirreno, Bam’s goal! On the Road – Calabria Edition is of give life to a sensory journey that opens the doors of an authentic, adventurous, sustainable Calabria, through a format of regenerative and participated tourism, which combines sport, nature, food and wine, culture and narration, as well as an important opportunity for promotion. Today is the moment of the second stage, from Tiriolo to Serra San Bruno, which will end in the evening with the Bam! Campfire, a festive gathering that brings together people, stories and territories, between convivial bonfires, typical products, live music with the parafonè and travel stories with the traveler-digital ninette Alvin Tripodi.

The third stage, on May 22, will lead from Serra to Gambarie, between uncontaminated forests and ancient memories of Greek Calabria, with astronomical observation in the evening with Marica Canonico.

The fourth and final stage, on May 23, will see the cycle tourists get off from Gambarie towards Bagnara Calabra, to greet Calabria in the village of swordfish fishermen with a suggestive goodbye party. Bam! On the road – Calabria Edition will not end that day. From 6 to 8 June, in fact, Calabria will also be the protagonist of the European Bam gathering! At Villa Contarini, in Veneto. All this, pending the new Calabrian edition, already on site for 2026.

The tour also represents a successful example of synergy between bodies and stakeholders in the area. Bam! On the Road Calabria Edition is in fact promoted to dream together and developed together with Bam! And Enough Cycling, with the technical support of the Ciclovia of the Parks of Calabria and the Calabria Region – Tourism and Environment Department and Extraordinary Agriculture and Department of Calabria, and the patronage of the Pollino National Park, the Sila National Park, the Regional Natural Park of Serre, the Aspromonte National Park, the Marine Parks of Calabria and Arsac.
