Incentives for permanent hiring of young “NEETs”: consult the indications of the INPS

The INPS, with the INPS circular dated 21 July 2023, n. 68, provides instructions foreconomic incentive recognized to employers who hire permanent subjects “NEETNot (engaged in) Education, Employment or Training” In the period 1st June – 31st December 2023.

The incentive, introduced by the Labor decree (law decree 4 May 2023, n. 48), is recognized upon request, for 12 months, to the extent of 60 per cent of the gross monthly salary taxable for social security purposes, for new recruitment of young people That:

  • on the date of hiring have not completed their thirtieth year of age;
  • do not work and are not included in study or training courses (“NEET”);
  • are registered at National Operational Program Youth Employment Initiative.

The measure is due for recruitments with open-ended contracts, including administration, and for professional apprenticeship contracts.

The employer concerned must forward to INPS the online application formNEET23”, through which he will be able to book the resources intended to finance the incentive. The form will be available from 31 July 2023 within the Benefits Portal.
