The City Council met again under the leadership of Vice President Federica Franconeri. Curiosity and anticipation in the chamber regarding the item on the agenda on the procedure for contesting the cause of incompatibility (raised in June by “Polistena Futura”, in addition to that of forfeiture due to many unjustified absences) of councilor Letterio De Domenico due to a dispute in court with the Municipality. On Friday morning, as communicated in the courtroom by Vice President Franconeri, the final sentence arrived from the Justice of the Peace of Palmi which declared De Domenico’s exclusion from the trial due to lack of passive legitimacy. «It is certain – Mayor Michele Tripodi stated in the chamber – that the ouster of councilor De Domenico must be considered in the event of a trial, the Council must take note of it». The point, as proposed by the vice president, was postponed to the next council meeting.
