There is no agreement even on the date on which to hold the city management meeting. The post-election torments of the Crotone Democratic Party are enriched by a new chapter. As in a game of chess, each move is responded to with a counter-move. It so happens that in the face of a possible request for the self-convocation of the board by those who have asked and are asking for a step back from the city secretary Annagiulia Caiazza, the response is with the convocation of the management for Tuesday 4 November at 6pm.
A date that does not sit well with the members who refer to the (resigned) group leader, Andrea Devona in the City Council and to the former mayor Gaetano Grillo, an ally of the secretary at last June’s congress but now among her critics. The latter ask that the management meet as early as Monday. And some are convinced that setting the meeting for Tuesday the 4th is an attempt by the city secretary to “buy time”.
