The “TRUST in Sport” project also started in Junean initiative dedicated to the psychophysical well-being of children aged 10 to 18, to guarantee their protection and protection, as well as to stimulate their active participation in sport.

The project, financed by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department for Sport as part of the 2023 public notice intended for EPS for the selection of projects aimed at promoting cohesion in sporting activity, provides for the expansion of the sporting offer of the ‘US Acli and, at the same time, the involvement of children who do not practice sports through local association networks.

At the same time, it involves the activation of awareness and communication campaigns to spread the values ​​of “Trust in Sport”, an acronym for: Protection, Respect, Equality, Security and Transparency.

The main actions proposed by the project are:

courses and sporting events aimed at young people and teenagers;
definition of operational practices and implementation of training courses for the promotion and protection of minors’ rights, through the definition of guidelines and intervention tools;
awareness and communication initiatives during events or through the organisation’s means of communication;
active participation and involvement of the children in the construction of the contents and methodologies used in the project.
“Trust in Sport”, which will end in May 2025, represents for the US Acli a commitment towards ever greater attention to the protection of minors’ rights, the removal of obstacles that limit access to sport and the valorisation of its role as a tool for inclusion and social cohesion.

At the moment the work is focusing on the planning of sports courses for young people which will start in September and the definition of the activities aimed at drafting the guidelines and operational tools to support associations for the protection of minors’ rights in sport.
