Innovative approach and attention to sustainability, a project of the unique in the final of “Make it a case”

A group of students from Department of Economy of the University of Messinaled by Prof. Alba Marinewas selected from the finalists of the 2024-2025 edition of the first half of the #Makeitacase National Prize, promoted by the Italian Management Society (SIMA) in collaboration with Invitalia.

Agata Simona Battaglia, Lidia Galletta, Marialuce Gallo and Giancarlo Sgroi, students of the degree course in innovation and entrepreneurship, presented the case of the Villarè farm of Angelo and Marzia Villari.

The project distinguished itself for the innovative approach and attention to sustainabilityreturning among the five best cases selected from 70 proposals from 16 Italian universities. The final event took place at the Federico II University of Naples as part of the Management Festival.

The prize is part of the “Female Entrepreneurship” program, financed by the Ministry of Companies and Made in Italy as part of the PNRR, with the aim of enhancing the managerial skills of young people, with particular attention to female participation and promotion of innovation in Italian SMEs.
