Internazionali di Roma, Errani-Paolini masterpiece: historic triumph for Italy in the women's doubles. “Is a dream”

Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini, after a fight lasting an hour and a half, win the women's doubles tournament, becoming champions of the Italian Internationals.

The two Italian players beat Coco Gauff and Erin Routliffe in the final played on Centrale with a score of 6-3, 4-6, 10-8. For Italy the last success came in 2012 when Errani, together with Vinci, beat Ekaterina Makarova/Elena Vesnina 6-2, 7-5.
