The 11 people involved in the Catanzaro DDA investigation into an alleged money laundering for the work carried out at the Isola Capo Rizzuto cemetery which allegedly took place in the shadow of the Arena gang in the years 2021-2022 are at risk of prosecution. Prosecutor Pasquale Mandolfino asked for the defendants to be sent to trial. The preliminary hearing for them will be held on December 4th before the Catanzaro magistrate, Arianna Roccia.
10 are accused of undue inducement to give or promise benefits, while only one is charged with extortion aggravated by mafia purposes. The 11 defendants whose trial was requested: Pasquale Armenis, Alessio Bruno, Pasquale Antonio Bruno, Domenico Cristodaro, Rocco Cristodaro, Carmine Longo, Alessandro Marasco, Rossellina Marasco, Francesco Pullano, Pasquale Riillo and Domenico Vetere.
