Raid on Gaza
According to Hamas sources, Israeli airstrikes hit southern Gaza, including the community of Abassan, east of the town of Khan Younis. The Hamas-run Health Ministry says three people have been killed in Israeli airstrikes in Rafah, in the southern Strip, Israeli media reported. Other airstrikes reportedly hit the city of Al-Karara, north of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Gaza’s Government Communications Office, a Hamas-run body, accused “the international community of being responsible for the continuation of the war in Gaza.”
Israel, Hamas does not release all women in violation of the pact
The Israeli Prime Minister’s office said in a statement that Hamas “violated the framework (of the agreement), failed to comply with its obligation to release all female hostages and fired rockets at Israel.” “Amid the return to fighting, we emphasize that the Government of Israel is committed to achieving the objectives of the war – freeing our hostages, eliminating Hamas and ensuring that Gaza can never again threaten the people of Israel.”
