From the triumph at the US Open in New York to the silence of the mountains of Alto Adige, precisely of his Sesto Pusteria at the foot of the Baranci. Jannik Sinner, as he posted on social media with a visit to the boys of a sports club in Brunico, has returned home before the long trip that will see him involved in two tournaments in China. Jannik, after landing from the USA at Milan Malpensa airport, went to Val Pusteria for a few days of rest but also of privacy to visit the aunt, the mother’s sister Siglinde.

The 23-year-old Italian world number one had dedicated his success at the US Open to his aunt «because», he explained, «she is not well and I don’t know how much longer she will remain in my life». Sinner has a very busy schedule. From September 26 to October 2 he will be in Beijing (China Open), from 2 to 13 in Shanghai, also in China, from 21 to 27 in Vienna, from October 28 to November 3 in Paris (Rolex Paris Masters), then from November 10 to 17 in Turin for the ATP Finals. The Davis Cup finals will be held from November 19 to 24.
