The consultations of the order of journalists for the three-year period 2025-2028 ended with the election of four Messina: a professional and three publicists.
As for the professionals, after the election in the first round of Riccardo Arena to the National Council, Filippo Mulè and Concept Mannisi to the Regional Council, and Vittorio Corradino at the Board of Auditors for Professionals, Franco Nuccio and Tiziana Martorana (both with 402 votes), Daniele Lo Porto (364 votes) and Massimiliano Passalacqua (313 votes) were elected to the ballot round. Salvo Messina enters the college of auditors with 399 votes. The elected among the professionals are all part of the “countercurrent” list.
As for the publicists, after the election in Roberto’s first round, immersed at the Board of Auditors, the ballot round led to the election of Santino Franchina (777 votes) to the National Council and the Regional Council of Tiziana Caruso (763) and Salvatore Li Castetri (740), all of the “Publicist 2.0” list, together with Laura Simoncini (756) of “Controller”.
Four Messinesi elected to the Council of the Order, including Santino Franchina which was the most voted candidate at national level and a large representation of journalists of “Gazzetta del Sud” with the editors Tiziana Caruso and Massimiliano Passalacqua and the collaborator Laura Simoncini.
