Kiev’s armed forces used the Long Neptune, the new Ukrainian production missile for the first time, to hit a Russian military base in Crimea. This was said by the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Herman Smetaninin an interview with Nettagesen relaunched by Suspilne. The same weapon had been used to attack the Russian refinery of Tuapse, located on the Black Sea coast, about 600 km from the Ukrainian territory.
The development of the Long Neptune had been announced a few weeks ago by the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky. The missile, with a range of about a thousand kilometers, in principle would be able to hit Moscow directly.
