Great success and participation by citizens and tourists in the event day Landscape and Creativity: excursions, concerts and tastings which took place in San Lorenzo Bellizzi.
The event Landscape and Creativity – Excursions, concerts and tastings, included in the “La via del Pollino Orientale” program of events, and financed under the law 13/85 of the Calabria Region and linked to the Calabria Straordinaria brand, has a series of initiatives that allowed all those who participated to fully experience the thousand magical ways of being of the hospitable village set within the Pollino National Park, culminating in an involved concert that saw the musical art of Ciccio Nucera and Antonio Grosso make the small mountain town vibrate with notes.
An experiential journey that started on the morning of August 9 with a guided excursion to Grotta Pietra Sant’Angelo, in a path during which the archaeological explorations were narrated, still in progress, which made it possible to reveal a story that began 14,500 years ago.
The lunch break which took place at the “Zipparri Lorenzo” farm, with the tasting of many typical products of the local food and wine culture, was the prologue to the panoramic loop excursion on the Pietra Sant’Angelo massif. The tour and then to discover the ancient and welcoming village, located in the heart of the Pollino National Park.
There was no shortage of cultural insights with the Museum of Peasant Art and Ancient Crafts, the scene of a panel, entitled The Landscape in Action, dedicated to the relationship between Art and Landscape, during which the artist Lorenzo Gugliotti spoke. The meeting was preceded by the exhibition-event, in collaboration with Borghi Autentici d’Italia, on the streets of Matteo Fratarcangeli’s village dedicated to the 700th anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri, who staged an Itinerant Recital entitled “The Divine Comedy in 100 villages”. The intent of the project is to stimulate reflection on the importance of actively reliving our lives because each of us is different from the other but together we are, albeit retaining originality, an essential concept for rediscovering or discovering Dante and the richness of poetic language which is Italian.
The day, intense and full of ideas and opportunities to discover the magic of a territory full of wonders.
