End of ‘battiquorum’. The same Giuseppe Conte to announce to the audience of Nova, the M5s constituent at the Palazzo dei Congressi that the quorum required for questions regarding the amendments to the Statute – the qualified majority, i.e. 50% plus one of those entitled, out of 88,943 members called to vote – has been reached. «At a time when the disaffection for political commitment, we have reached the quorum.” Giuseppe Conte underlines to the Nova audience that “it is a satisfaction for everyone, but above all – he points out – it is the victory of those who decided to decide”. This passage is clearly aimed at the battle to boycott online voting on the questions of the Constituent Assembly carried out by the old guard closest to Beppe Grillo. An announcement that the M5s president made personally, interrupting the panel with the director of TgLa7, Enrico Mentana, was greeted with applause from the audience.
