Extortion in competition with the aggravating circumstance of the mafia method. And also violence and threats. It is with these serious accusations that in Lombardy the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Monza Brianza arrested two Calabrians, both originally from the province of Reggio Calabria. The execution of the precautionary measure order in prison – issued by the judge for preliminary investigations of the Court of Milan at the request of the local anti-mafia prosecutor’s office – was carried out by the soldiers of the investigative unit. From the investigations, the two arrested, “to achieve an unfair profit”, with “violence and threats” would have forced a well-known Brianza luxury watch dealer to deliver to them “in several tranches” a sum of money “not less than 250 thousand euros” and “two watches worth 50 thousand euros”.
