The 5 Star Movement officially makes Rossella Gallo’s candidacy for the city of Rende for the next administrative elections.
“Today a long phase of interlocution with the other political forces, conducted with a constructive spirit, responsibility and opening, is closed. Unfortunately, it did not produce the desired results. To weigh they have been chosen personalistic, rigidity and the proposal of imposed candidates, far from the participatory and shared method that we had hoped for. Our position does not arise from prejudice closures, but from the net refusal of logic that The very sense of civic commitment.
We worked to build a true alternative, which was an expression of a clear political identity, coherent and rooted in the progressive field, in line with what the 5 Star Movement represents in Europe and in Italy. We cannot nor do we want to wate on our values to support proposals that, although proclaiming civic or fakely chosen by the people, prove to be functional to worn devices or to the ambitions of a few. Makes it deserves more.
This is why today, with pride and a sense of responsibility, we claim our role in the city. A role that in these elections sees us at the forefront of the progressive field. In a political context fragmented and polluted by transverse alliances, our proposal is clear: we represent the real alternative to the center -right, which in Rende has governed directly or indirectly in the last twenty years, and to the transversal personalisms that have left behind only political rubble, financial disasters and commissioners for Mafia.
Rossella Gallo, a young professional, lawyer, active and conscious town, is the ideal figure for us to represent a new, courageous, clean political proposal. His candidacy embodies an authentic revolution: a profound change, capable of speaking to the city with sincerity, competence and passion. A proposal that is aimed at all and all, without distinctions, in the sign of respect, social justice and participation.
Rende is a city that has culture, thanks to the presence of the University of Calabria; productivity, thanks to two important industrial areas; History and beauty, thanks to its extraordinary historical center. But it is also a city wounded for years of poor administration. Today, more than ever, it’s time to turn the page and start building that future that has been denied us.
Ours is not a choice of isolation – as someone wanted to describe an Aventine – but an act of political clarity improperly. We choose to break the patterns that for over twenty years have prevented the city from expressing their potential, imprisoning it in logic of power that have nothing to do with the common good.
The program that will accompany Rossella Gallo’s candidacy is focused on concrete and urgent issues: administrative transparency, defense of the rights of all and all, consumption of zero soil, public green and environmental protection, real social inclusion. We intend to build an administration you listen to, which plan with vision and that act with courage. An administration that focuses people, the dignity of work, the quality of life.
The 5 Star Movement presents itself at these elections with a credible, clean and radically alternative proposal. He does it with the enthusiasm of those who have nothing to defend except the values in which they believe, and with the quiet force of those who look to the future with hope, vision and determination “.

Therefore, there will be five, in all probability, the aspiring mayors. In addition to Rossella Gallo there is Sandro Principewithout parties except with the PSI and the PSDI but with at least six lists in his support. Marco Ghionnacandidate of the center -right, has made official his candidacy with the four reference parties (Fdi, Forza Italia, we moderates and league with the latter without symbol to the starting tapes) plus the list in reference to his name. To follow Giovanni Bilottiexpression of civil society but supported by the Democratic Party in the very first joke. And then Luciano Bonannoindependent, the first to announce the “descent” on the field.
