Martin Scorsese has announced that he has produced a documentary that will include conversations between Pope Francis and the filmmaker, including what the directors of the film have called “the latest in -depth interview of the pontiff in front of a camera for cinema”. The Guardian reports.
“Aldeas – A New Story” will tell the work of Scholas Occhurntes, a non -profit organization founded by the Pope in 2013 to promote what he called “culture of the meeting” among young people. The film will show young people in Indonesia, Gambia and Italy who participate in the program and make shorts. A release date has not been announced.
