It was 2009, the year of another failure of Messina, and the image of a single Giallorossi footballer present before the court remains indelible. Era Salvatore Cocuzzasymbol, on several occasions, of a bond that has ventured season after season: the striker returned to the Giallorossi in Serie D in 2011/2013, in C in 2015/2016 and again in D in 2017/2018. After 16 years after that gesture, Messina finds itself engaged in the courtrooms again: «It is a pain because I thought that it was the last time and that those moments would serve to give the city what it deserves. I lived that situation in the first person and I am very close to the fans, I know how they can feel and they are the only ones who have faith and love for this shirt ».
