While waiting for the full takeover at a federal and operational level within Messina, the members of the Racing City Group are thinking about inserting some figures into the management system for the development of the club.

At a marketing level, the reference figure should be that of Saverio Provenzano, who was already very close to the club in the summer of 2024, without then finding an agreement for an inclusion within the structure. This could be the right time, at the time there was also talk of the possibility of hiring the general management, which could also come back into fashion in the coming months. Alongside Saverio Provenzano’s working group, there should be space for the Cooperative Society, which in recent months has played a fundamental role in keeping Messina alive. They could be entrusted, through an indirect agreement, with territorial initiatives. More will be known in the coming days.

As regards the technical aspect, Daniele Livieri, Racing’s trusted man, could be included in the current staff, who would strengthen the working group headed by Mister Pippo Romano. We are also already thinking about the youth sector, with the confirmation of contacts with the figures who have already emerged in recent weeks, namely Alessandro Parisi and above all Carmine Coppola. Looking ahead to next season, we are also thinking about the creation of the women’s team, in collaboration with some local organisation, which could be Unime.

An eye on the present and one on the future through the internationalization of the brand and the discovery of new talents. With this in mind, “Global ID Camps” was born. Campus in Australia open to children aged between 10 and 19 between Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane. A project that has development, financial and technical purposes. Among all the participants, three prominent players will be selected to receive an exclusive scholarship in Sicily with Messina. “Ambassador” will be Carmine Coppola. Also on the project staff will be Peppe Savanarola (assistant to Pippo Romano), Vince Battiato (Academy manager and next in charge of setting up the Acr women’s team for next season), Frank Marcaccio (Acr Australia and Vittoria manager), Steven Grelli and Davide Dalla Pozza.
