Busy day for the firefighters of the Messina Command of Messina engaged on multiple fronts to deal with the fire situation. they were busy throughout the entire area with 35 interventions carried out since 8 in the morning. Some are still ongoing, on a day which saw the towns of Milazzo, Larderia and Pagliara among the most affected areas. Precisely because of this last case, a fire has regained strength on the eastern front, with several hectares of Mediterranean scrub gone up in smoke.
2 support teams from Messina were also sent to the Caltanissetta Command.
