More inconveniences on city roads due to the numerous potholes that have been affecting the road surface for months. This afternoon a car remained stuck after ending up with its left front wheel in a deep chasm that opened at the intersection of the ring road and via Palermo. Thanks to the heavy rain of the last few hours, the hole has further widened and deepened, turning into a real trap for motorists. The driver of the vehicle, realizing too late that the danger was partly covered by water, was unable to avoid the impact.
The car remained stuck and the intervention of a tow truck was necessary to lift it and remove it from the road. The vehicle reportedly suffered damage, yet to be quantified.
The municipal police also intervened on site, regulating traffic and carrying out the necessary investigations. The episode brings attention again to the conditions of the city road surface, which has long been the subject of reports and protests by residents.
