Messina, from south to north a new life for nine squares: so Torre Faro will also return to shine photos

A package of interventions of 7.5 million euros, financed with the PN Metro Plus, to redevelop nine spaces of the city, from south to north. We will start today with the tender of over 2 million euros for the redevelopment of the lava lava of Torre Faro, including the restyling of Piazzetta dell’Angelo. These are the other locations: a brand new square in Santa Margherita, in an area of ​​12 thousand square meters; the redevelopment of Piazza XX Settembre, in front of the orthobotanic; Piazza G. Verga in Castanea; Spaces for sports and boys in the Sant’Annibale district, Bordonaro, in Piscunina-Santa Lucia, a soccer field neighboring the Santa Lucia complex above the countesses of the Catalfamo school, the Saint Marta’s widening, under Viale Italia, and Piazza SS Rosario Castanea.

To these spaces, as explained at a press conference by the mayor Federico Basilefrom the deputy mayor Salvatore Mondello and by the councilors Massimiliano Minutoli and Massimo Finocchiarothe renovation of three other squares in the south area will be added (Giampilieri Marina, Piazza S. Maria dei Giardini and Piazza Pioppio in Santo Stefano Medio) with the funds for post-high interventions, and the community squares provided for by Pums in various areas of the city.
