The Messina finally has a new coach. Agreement reached until June 2025 with Simone Banchieri50 years old, originally from Turin. The Ex Vis Pesaro, Pro Sesto, Novara and Legnano will conduct their first training session in Calabria tomorrow morning, where the team will undergo fine-tuning in view of the away match in Caserta.
Bankers’ career
Simone Banchieri born in Turin in 1974, coach who started from the dusty amateur fields, at the beginning of his career led Canavese, Novese, Dhertona and Folgore Caratese, then the turning point of his career in Novara, with the under 16 championship won in the 2018-19 season, and the subsequent passage to the first team in the pro league, where he even reached the playoff semi-final, almost reaching Serie B. His adventure at the helm of Novara continues until 2021. Then he leads Pro Sesto in the 2021-22 season and subsequently Vis Pesaro in 2022-23 where he obtains salvation and in the 2023-24 season, where, however, he is sacked on 30 March. The coach mainly uses the 3-4-2-1 and 4-3-3.
