All it took was a sudden change in weather conditions in Messina and one of the many trees in the center crashed during the night. And once again we must thank good luck if no one paid the consequences. It happened in via Giacomo Venezian, an artery that goes slightly downhill from via Tommaso Cannizzaro to Piazza Duomo. The road that runs alongside the University headquarters has been cordoned off so that the firefighters can make it safe by cutting up the tree that fell right onto the gate that delimits the university.
