It opened today, the “Ex Gasometro” interchange car park. The area extends for approximately 8,500 m2 and there are 295 total spaces, of which 9 spaces for disabled users, 9 dedicated spaces for cars with electric motors near the 4 charging stations and 3 pink parking spaces dedicated to pregnant women or families with small children. The car park has a video surveillance system with fixed cameras, 24 hours a day. Parking in this first phase will be free until at least 31 August.

However, the “La Farina” car park is still closed after yesterday's accident. The rest area was closed to allow the area to be made safe. Following the inspection, carried out by an expert in the presence of the Municipal Police and the Fire Brigade, yesterday the car park was emptied. Yesterday morning a car crashed at high speed into one of the supports of the modular structure that make up the car park, deforming and disorienting it. The driver of the car did not suffer any injuries nor was there any damage to other parked vehicles.
