The Municipality of Messina and Amam announce that the planned third step of structural interventions for the mitigation of the vulnerabilities of the Aqueduct Fiumefreddo scheduled for Friday 16 February has been extended to next February 23.
The extension of the works and the consequent water interruption in the City was requested by the company Cospin srl, in charge of the works, with a note sent to the AMAM company which reads “considering that the last water interruption on 19 January was delayed by seven days due to adverse weather conditions which led to delays in the positioning and organization of the next third step, we ask to postpone the next water interruption in the City to February 23rd”. The Municipality and Amam have accepted the request, and therefore warn citizens that the timetable of the interventions, barring unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions, will continue with the water interruption on February 23rd
