The trial for the thefts and robberies in series scored between April and October 2024 with three convictions. The process, which took place with the forms of the abbreviated rite, was against Davide Barbuscia, Gianluca Demarco and Placido Arena. They had to answer for a series of repetition strokes, some completed, others only attempted, against merchants and private citizens.
The Gup Claudia Misale sentenced Barbuscia to the sentence of 4 years and 4 months of imprisonment as well as a thousand euros of fine; Demarco at 6 years and 8 months and 5300 euros of fine. To both the judge excluded both the aggravating circumstance for one of the disputed crimes and the increase for recurrence. Finally Arena was sentenced to 3 years and 4 months of imprisonment and 600 euros of fine. Salvatore Silvestro, Alessandro Trova and Cinzia Panebianco were defended by lawyers.
