Tomas is a young clochard of the Czech Republic who lives with siren and blue, two sweet dogs. He arrived in Messina a year ago, animated by a strong desire for redemption and the desire to change his life. He enrolled in a school for foreigners to learn the Italian he attends with profit and performs small jobs as cleaning officer in markets and supermarkets. These are jumping duties but which allow him to raise some money, to try to build a more dignified future.
The choice to live in a camping tent, generously donated by Mrs. Stefania and her family after the shack in which she lived in the early days was set on fire by the vandals, in the case of Tomas it cannot be said exactly a philosophy of life. Rather, it represents an extraordinary gesture of love for siren and blue from which she never separates. But no reception structure for homeless people is willing to host them too. To have a safe shelter and leave the road, Tomas who will turn 35 in August, he should give up his inseparable four -legged friends.
