A Messina at the top of Italian kickboxing. Today it will be a crucial date for the future of the young Peloritana athlete Valeria Perdichizzi, that will take to Tatami to play the Italian Kickboxing championships. The event will be held in the splendid setting of Jesolo, and will see Valeria engaged in category -70 kg juniorproudly representing the team led by Maurizio Arena.
The way to get to this national phase was not easy. Valeria has been able to distinguish itself from the regional phase, where she gained access to the prestigious April Criterium, a national elimination phase that selected the best athletes for the Italian championships.
In his category there were seven, but Valeria pointed out for technique and determination, conquering a well -deserved second place, touching the final victory for a few points. Thanks to this performance, he managed to qualify among the four athletes who will compete for the national title in the -70 kg junior category.
Unlike direct elimination tournaments, this year’s format includes an Italian group: all athletes will face each other, and it will be the sum of the points obtained to determine the new Italian champion.
At stake there is not only the tricolor title, but also the possibility of wearing the Italian national team shirt, representing Italy at the next world championships. With determination, preparation and the support of his team, Valeria Perdichizzi shows up in Jesolo with the ambition to get on the top step of the podium.
