Amam’s work relating to the third step of the plan to modernize the Fiumefreddo pipeline was completed early. The works involved 7 of the 9 interventions foreseen in the timetable. The remaining 2 (Tremestieri and Roccalumera) are postponed to the next water interruption steps‍. The supply will be restored this morning in a large part of the city, up to Piazza Castronovo, while in the afternoon the distribution will be reactivated from Piazza Castronovo to Mortelle.
The Municipal Operations Center (COC) remains active and can be reached from today at 7am on the telephone number 090 22866. As of 10pm yesterday there had been 61 calls to the COC for water requests, all of which had been answered.

“The Municipality of Messina and AMAM SpA thank the citizens for the patience, understanding and collaboration demonstrated during this third step of planned interruption”.
