In the last weekend, the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Milazzo have prepared a special control plan and patrols, even at night, aimed at counteracting bad nightlife and guaranteeing the safety of citizenswith the aim of preventing and repressing any form of illegality, as well as to verify compliance with the rules of the Traffic Lawswith particular attention to the control of people who lead to driving vehicles after consuming alcoholic beverages.
During the service, more than 150 vehicles and over 200 people were checked, with the dispute of different violations of the Traffic Lawsalso for conduct that put in serious danger the safety of motorists and pedestrians. As part of the anti -drug activity, in two distinct checks, two people have been reported for detention for drug dealing purposes, as found in possession of some doses of hashish ready to be sold. Eight young people aged between 20 and 33, have also been reported to the Prefecture of Messina as assunators of drugs, since they found some doses of hashish, marijuana and cocaine detained for personal use.
