Thirty years of industrial history, but also of relationship with the territory. It was the Milazzo Castle that was the setting for the celebration of the thirty years of the joint venture between Eni and Q8 Italia which gave life to the Milazzo Refinery. An evening under the slogan “A story that binds us”, which has become the underlying theme of the event among memories, results achieved and new challenges for an energy sector undergoing a profound transformation.
Alongside the top management of the Refinery, the local institutions were present: the mayor of Milazzo Pippo Midili, the mayor of San Filippo del Mela Gianni Pino, the metropolitan mayor Federico Basile, the representatives of the police forces and the Port Authority, the president of the Strait Port System Authority Francesco Rizzo, together with the representatives of the scholastic world. A presence that underlined the bond built over the years between the Refinery and the institutions, the world of training and the local community.
