Fire brigade teams from the Reggio Calabria Command, detachments from Palmi and Polistena, together with the team from the headquarters of the Vibo Valentia Command with the support of cranes were involved in a road accident on the A2 del Mediterraneo, at km 378 heading south , near the junction for Mileto.
The accident involved an overturned tractor-trailer transporting food.
The person stuck inside the articulated lorry was extracted. She was entrusted to the Suem118 staff for the necessary treatment and subsequent transfer to a hospital facility. The southern lane of the A2 del Mediterraneo in the section affected by the accident remained completely closed to traffic.
ANAS and the Traffic Police are on site for the relevant obligations.
