Francesco Bagnaia won the German GP MotoGp class. Second place for Marc Márquez (Ducati Gresini), third Alex Marquez. Crash with just over a lap to go for Jorge Martin who had been in command since the start. Bagnaia, thanks to today’s success, returns to the lead of the world championship.
“It wasn’t easy at all, at the beginning I tried in every way to get into first position, but then Martin moved forward and pulled away. I recovered little by little trying to close the gap, keeping a lot of pressure on Jorge. I saw that he was starting to make some small mistakes and I was lucky. It was difficult anyway and I’m very happy because it’s also my first victory here”. This is Francesco Bagnaia’s comment after his triumph in the German Grand Prix. The Italian Ducati Lenovo rider, reigning world champion, is now also first in the World Championship (+10 on Martin) thanks to the crash of his Spanish rival.
