The world champion, Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati), with exemplary race conduct, won the Catalunya GP ahead of the Spaniard Jorge Martin (Ducati Prima Pramac). Third place for Marc Marquez (Ducati Gresini) who recovered eleven positions compared to the start. Fourth was Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia), fifth was Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati VR 46) who overtook Raul Fernandez (Aprilia) at the end. Seventh Alex Marquez (Ducati Gresini), eighth Brad Binder (Ktm), ninth the other Ducati, that of Bastianini, tenth Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha).

«I was angry about how yesterday went, but I knew I had the potential to win. When I saw that Martin was having problems with the front I pushed and it went well.” Francesco Bagnaia This is how he commented on his first victory in Catalonia on Sky. «Yesterday I lay down because I did it slowly, today I decided to take a risk right there» he added, speaking of turn 5, where he had fallen in the sprint and today made the decisive overtake on Jorge Martin.

“I knew that the less I was behind Jorge, the better it was for the front tire. And then I wanted to dispel the myth that I couldn't finish the races here – he added – Vince really gives me pleasure today, thinking about what had happened last year last”.

«I'm very happy with the race, it was difficult to start from fourth position. I felt at ease and I had a little more but I gave everything, I tried to put a bit of pressure on Pecco but it was useless. I'm waiting for the next race » he said, Jorge Martin (Ducati Prima Pramac), second at the end of the Catalunya GP behind Pecco Bagnaia.
