After the super pole position achieved in the morning, Jorge Martin wins the Sprint Race of the German Grand Prix returning to triumph almost two months after the last time (double in France). Second place for a good Miguel Oliveira on Aprilia while Francesco Bagnaia with the Ducati Lenovo takes the third step of the podiumfollowed by his teammate Enea Bastianini. The Spanish Ducati Pramac rider thus regains a few more points of advantage in the general classification over his rival, the reigning world champion, which now follows at -15.
Bagnaia got off to a perfect start once again, jumping straight into the lead from fourth on the grid, but after a handful of laps Martin began to pick up the pace and took back the lead, with the Italian rider also being overtaken by Oliveira. Following the trio in front was the other Ducati Lenovo of Bastianini, who started fighting for a place on the podium. Martin, however, pulled away and created a small gap on his pursuers, Bagnaia in the meantime was unable to respond to the Portuguese and the race ended without any major changes.
