Ai Ogura (Aprilia Trackhouse) dominates the Dutch Grand Prix, the tenth round of the MotoGP World Championship. The Japanese driver precedes his teammate Raul Fernandez to the finish line. Jorge Martin completes the Aprilia hat-trick and takes the top of the rider standings, taking advantage of Marco Bezzecchi’s crash after just three laps. Heavy zero for the Italian driver, who slips to -7 behind Martin in the standings. At the foot of the podium is in front Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati VR46), ahead of Alex Marquez (Ducati Gresini) and Marc Marquez (Ducati). Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) retired due to a brake problem.

Bezzecchi conscious, but still transferred to Groningen for specialist tests

Checks for Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia), after the bad crash in the Dutch Grand Prix. Bezzecchi was hospitalized at the circuit’s medical center and underwent a thorough evaluation by the medical staff. The tests confirmed that the pilot is fully conscious and has “normal mobility in all four limbs without signs of serious neurological or systemic complications”. However, “due to the severe pain” the team decided to transfer Bezzecchi to Groningen to undergo specialist tests to therefore exclude “underlying injuries and guarantee a safe recovery path”.
