Francesco Bagnaia, riding the Ducati, won the MotoGP class race of the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello. In second place the other Italian of Ducati Lenovo Enea Bastianini, third the Spaniard Jorge Martin.

The reigning world champion, riding his Ducati Lenovo, repeats his victory in yesterday's Sprint Race. Behind him, in second place, his teammate Enea Bastianini: «I'm very happy because I came from a difficult period in which something wasn't right. Today I pushed like a bastard (laughs, ed.) even if at the beginning I tried to stay calm and manage the tyres. But when Marquez overtook me it was time to attack again and in the end I overtook Martin too. I am so happy and I want to dedicate this race to my dog who passed away last week.” On the podium, in third place, the Spanish Ducati Pramac rider Jorge Martin: «Compared to yesterday we have made a big improvement, but I'm frustrated with the last lap. I kept up with Bagnaia's pace for many laps as he was going very fast, I thought I could attack him but in the end I had reached the limit and I didn't push it. Last corner? I couldn't close the line and Bastianini overtook me. Now we will rest to return stronger to Assen”
