One of Peppe Scopelliti’s profound beliefs is that of the need to “expand the perimeter of the Reggio centre-right”. Making the center-right a truly attractive community, plural and full of high quality men and women, with a serious political proposal that is able to put the city, its expectations and its growth prospects back at the centre. In other words: building the best possible future for Reggio. And if we want to say it with our American friend Donald Trump: make Reggio great again.
However, there is a difference between saying and doing, as the ancient wise men said. Building a “plural center-right” means working together – men and parties – to win the next municipal elections. A challenge that promises to be very difficult – both seen from the right and from the left – and with a result that is not at all obvious. «We are there, where we dreamed of being», comments Scopelliti after having sobered up after the election.
