The choice is made. It was in the air, for weeks now and the name circulated taking more and more foot. Forza Italia has made official his candidate for mayor for the next spring administrative elections: Gianpaolo Iacobini will lead a civic project also open to other political forces, with the aim of building an alternative to the current municipal administration.
The decision accrued during an assembly, which was attended by about 200 members and supporters of the party, together with the local and provincial leaders. Present the provincial secretary Gianluca Gallo and the secretaries of the circles of Cassano Centro and Sibari, Liborio Bloise and Francesco Celiberto. The debate ended with a vote by acclamation in favor of Iacobini, thus marking the official beginning of an election campaign that promises to be intense.
One of the key aspects of the candidacy is the desire to focus on a civic imprint coalition. The project focuses on a clear discontinuity with respect to the current administration, with a program that intends to respond to the needs of the Cassanese community with new ideas and a concrete approach.
After the assembly, a delegation of Forza Italia met Gianpaolo Iacobini to formalize the proposal. The Cassanese lawyer accepted the candidacy, manifesting the will to work for an inclusive project, capable of involving citizens, associations and movements of different extraction.
